MINI SAVE-A-LIFE DAY
SPECO Volunteer and Social media Organizer, and senior at Huntington High, Fiona Reynolds coordinated a Mini SAL Day on April 2nd 2022. The entire day led to 199 Narcan Nasal Kits distributed at all three locations with Marshall University giving out the most donations. The 200th Narcan Kit distributed went to WV State Episcopal Bishop Coadjutor Matthew Cowden. See the pics below to see Fiona's success!
THE NEXT DAY
The Mini SAL Day caught the attention of Chief Karl Colder, also an Episcopalian, who joined SPECO for the monthly care bag pack the following day and want to help with the next SAL Day.
We believe in throughout naloxone training and providing as much information as possible to those who wish to carry naloxone!
Almost 100 Nasal Kits distributed in this area! Marshall Collegiate Recovery, SPECO, Marshall Medicine students, and community volunteers kicked butt at this location!
ST. PETER'S EPISCOPAL CHURCH
HAWC, SPECO, and community members volunteered at all three locations.
